Paul Trask’s love for the Lord and His word led him to earn a M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary. Since then he has operated a successful apologetics ministry for over 25 years. Paul also has a BBA from the University of Michigan in Accounting, and is a retired CPA and corporate financial consultant.

In 1995 Paul started Refiner’s Fire Ministries as an outreach ministry to Latter Day Saints. In that connection he authored and published Part Way to Utah: The Forgotten Mormons and The Long Way Home: Moving From a Pseudo-Christian Cult into Genuine Christianity, both of which are also available here in our Liberty Fellowship bookstore.

More recently, Paul has published shorter works, Shall “All Israel” Be Saved? and John’s KEY Unlocks Revelation. Both of these titles are available in our bookstore, and are characteristic of Paul’s current teaching emphasis.

Paul has taught and preached in several churches, in Santa Monica, California and in Missouri. He has served as pastor here in Missouri, and as Chief Financial Officer for a major Christian ministry in Los Angeles. He has also been the guest speaker in numerous churches and ministries and has been guest lecturer at two seminaries. Paul loves Biblical research, writing and teaching, and also hosted an hour long radio program in the Kansas City area during 2019 and 2020.

In 2019 Paul and his wife Leslie launched Liberty Fellowship, and in the spring of 2020 they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The Trasks live in eastern Jackson County, Missouri, have one son and three grandchildren. In addition to ministry, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, playing trombone, operating ham radio and is an emergency services volunteer. When it gets hot in Missouri, they love to head north in their RV camper van up to one of their favorite get-away places, Copper Harbor, Michigan.
